Financing is a B2B web-app that helps CFOs and finance teams in their decision making for Mergers&Acquisition. The tool helps to analyze company’s financials, elaborate acquisition scenarios and show capital structure.

The MVP was launched live in 2018 with the help of a designer. But for 3+ years the team has implemented new features without the help of any Product Designer.
Users started to complain about being overwhelmed by the interface, some features were not understood and retention rate started to drop.
A redesign was needed to simplify the UI and renew with UX best practices
First things first, the end-users.
What are their feelings ? What are their friction points ? To answer those questions, I conducted 5 user interviews
The goal was to collect user feedback on the application and detect opportunities we couldn’t see from an external point of view
